Open to THOROUGHBRED, MARES or GELDINGS, 4 years old and over. To be ridden by riders who have attained their 16th birthday by 1 January 2024.
Aim:
To showcase successful Irish bred or trained racehorses as useful and suitable riding horses. The horses entered in this class should demonstrate quality, substance, bone, correct conformation, presence and true action.
The class may include racehorses of hack, riding horse or hunter types with the best of type being judged the winner.
This class is open to thoroughbred horses only.
PLEASE NOTE
Rings will not be delayed where there is a clash between horses or riders participating in any other rings on the day of the show.
The onus is on the exhibitor to ensure that they have alternative rider/handler available in the event of any clash.

No second prize in cases of less than 3 entries, no 3rd prize in cases of less than 5 entries, unless in the opinion of the Judges there is sufficent merit shown
PLEASE NOTE
RINGS WILL NOT BE DELAYED WHERE THERE IS A CLASH BETWEEN HORSES OR RIDERS PARTICIPATING IN ANY OTHER RING ON THE DAY OF SHOW.
THE ONUS IS ON THE EXHIBITOR TO ENSURE THAT THEY HAVE ALTERNATIVE RIDER/HANDLER AVAILABLE IN THE EVENT OF ANY CLASH.
