27: YOUNG HANDLERS 7-12 YEARS OLD

PONIES ➤ LOCAL LEAD REIN & LOCAL RIDING PONIES Sat, 17th Jun, 2023

This class will be judged by assessing the handler and the pony as a combination. Handlers MUST wear a helmet when leading their pony in this class. Exhibitors will be asked to stand their pony up for the judge, walk and trot in hand as directed.

The class will be judged taking into consideration the following: control of pony, skill in showing in hand - animal in walk, trot and stand for conformation assessment and knowledge of their pony.

Non - IPS registered ponies only.

IPS registered ponies are not eligible to enter any of the classes in the Local, Lead Rein & Local Riding Pony classes.
Competitors in these classes not to have participated in any other ridden pony class on the day of the show.

Please note no 2nd prize in the case of less than 3 entries, no 3rd prize in cases of less than 5 entries, unless in the opinion of the Judges there is sufficient merit shown
