2022 New Location

Wed 13th Apr 2022

New Gorey Show Location

Gorey Agricultural Show has had a variety of homes over the years, most recently at Clonattin, Gorey in 2019. Unfortunately the last 2 years were lost due to Covid, as was the case with all Agricultural Shows in the country. The Show Committee are delighted to announce that the venue for the 2022 show is Ashton, Ballycanew, by kind permission of Mrs Anne Hardy & Family. The Hardy Family are well associated with Gorey Agricultural Show having previously hosted the show from 1995 to 2009.

Ashton is very well located on the main Gorey to Wexford Road, near exit 23 on the motorway.

We would like to express our thanks to Glanbia who are our main sponsor again this year, and thanks to Chairman of Glanbia, local man John Murphy for finding time in his schedule for our photoshoot in Ashton. Glanbia is synonymous with Agriculture and well represented locally with branches in Ballycanew & Kilmuckridge.

This year’s show will take place on the 18th June, our committee are working very hard behind the scenes to ensure that this year’s show will be bigger and better. Having had no agricultural shows for 2 years we feel that people will be anxious to get back out there. We pride ourselves on providing a fun filled family day out, with equestrian classes, cattle & sheep showing, craft competitions, pets corner, dog show, vintage and amusements. Our schedule will be available online at www.goreyagriculturalshow.com where you can enter online.

We are currently taking bookings for trade stands, you can contact our Chairman Willie Cecil at 087/2618273 or check out the contacts page on the website
