RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. The competition is confined to all Breeds of Crossbred Lambs.
  2. An Exhibitor may only qualify two lambs for the final.
  3. Lambs must be born in 2024.
  4. Lambs qualifying for this final are ineligible for entry to other classes at Castleblayney Show.
  5. All lambs must be homebred on the farm of the exhibitor.
  6. Two lambs in each qualifying show may be selected to compete in the final provided the judges agree the standard is high enough.
  7. All exhibitors must wear a white coat and have their number clearly visible at the final.
  8. The exhibitor must fill out their own qualifying card at each qualifying show.
  9. The foregoing rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA general rules together with Castleblayney Show rules.

Entry Fee: To Qualifying Show €10, To Final €15

PRIZES: Champion €600 & Sash, 2nd €400, 3rd €300, 4th €200, 5th €100, 6th to 20th €60

All crossbred Sheep to be untrimmed
ANIMALS WILL NOT BE JUDGED IF COMPETITOR NUMBER IS NOT DISPLAYED & MOVEMENT CARD HANDED IN TO THE SECRETARY'S TENT.
Please note, no 2nd prize in the case of less than 3 entries, and no 3rd prize in the case of less than 5 entries, unless in the opinion of the Judge there is sufficient merit shown. Where there are insufficient entries classes may be combined.
