Open to MARES or GELDINGS, 5 years old or over.
To be ridden side-saddle by riders who have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January 2023.
Aim:
To promote, present and perserve the art of side saddle riding.
Rules:
The riders ability and turnout, and the way of going, manners, confirmation and movement of the horse will be considered as part of the adjudication.
Horse and rider combinations entered in the Ladies' Side-Saddle class are not eligible to compete in the Intermediate Side-Saddle qualifiers for the Dublin Horse Show.
Qualification:
The top three horse and rider combinations at this qualifier will be eligible to enter and compete at the 2023 Dublin Horse Show
PLEASE NOTE
Rings will not be delayed where there is a clash between horses or riders participating in any other rings on the day of the show.
The onus is on the exhibitor to ensure that they have alternative rider/handler available in the event of any clash.

No second prize in cases of less than 3 entries, no 3rd prize in cases of less than 5 entries, unless in the opinion of the Judges there is sufficent merit shown

RINGS WILL NOT BE DELAYED WHERE THERE IS A CLASH BETWEEN HORSES OR RIDERS PARTICIPATING IN ANY OTHER RINGS ON THE DAY OF SHOW.
THE ONUS IS ON THE EXHIBITOR TO ENSURE THAT THEY HAVE ALTERNATIVE RIDER/HANDLER AVAILABLE IN THE EVENT OF ANY CLASH.
